Dog: Astra, Indian Street Dog Female Age: 7 years Weight: 15 kgs History: Sterilization done around 2 years ago Presenting Complaint: Severe traumatic injury near the left eye. Injury possibly occurred ~4 days ago but observed today. Foul smell with infection on the site. The left eye appears to be severely damaged or missing entirely. Large open wound around eye socket with: • Swelling • Scab formation • Possible necrotic/blackened tissue • Greenish discharge with foul smell No active bleeding, but wound is open and vulnerable to further contamination/insect activity
Treatment: Antibiotics tablets with vitamin supplements and eye drops
